Job summary

Micron Technology Singapore is seeking a Global Planning Strategic Program Engineer to drive FrontEnd Planning Transformative Initiatives and BI process improvements. You will collaborate with Global and FrontEnd teams in Asia and the USA to deploy standardized planning systems and data governance.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of experience, strong planning system knowledge, and project management abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with minimum 4 years of experience.
• Fab Planning knowledge and familiarity with planning systems.
• Proven project management skills to meet objectives and timelines.
• Excellent communication, and independent work capabilities.
• AI experience is advantageous, including generative AI familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Understand the planning system and ensure successful implementation across the network.
• Analyze current business processes and propose improvements.
• Identify opportunities for automation and systematization.
• Standardize best practices and implement planning systems (Fazer, Tools List Web, PDM).
• Govern planning input data across the planning network (Loading, Capacity Model).
• Collaborate with partners and teams to deploy systems and processes.

As a Global Planning Strategic Program Engineer, you will be handling program to drive FrontEnd Planning Transformative Initiative and Business Process Improvement. You will be collaborating with various stakeholders from Global and FrontEnd HVM team in Asia and USA.

Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To

• Understand the planning system and associated application used within Micron and ensure successful implementation through the network
• Understand the current business process and generate improvement proposal
• Identifying opportunities for automation and systemizing
• Ensuring standardization of best practice and implementation of Planning systems (e.g Fazer, Tools List Web, PDM)
• Establishing planning input data governance across Planning network (Loading, Capacity Model)
• Collaborate with business partners and other teams (e.g SMAI, Global and Sites Planning, Layout, etc) to ensure successful deployment of system and business process established

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with minimum 4 years of experience
• Fab Planning knowledge
• Proven Project Management skills in handling various project to meet objectives and timeline
• Excellent knowledge of Planning systems, applications, computer and Microsoft office skills
• Willingness to learn and master new system
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proven ability to work independently and strong team culture
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship building capability
• AI experience is highly advantageous, including familiarity with AI agents, generative AI technologies, and agentic workflows, as well as the ability to identify, design, and integrate AI-driven solutions into planning systems and business processes to improve decision quality, productivity, and automation.
