Job summary

Control Risks is seeking a consultant based in Singapore to join an embedded project with a top-tier technology client. The role involves on-site operational security assessments and red-teaming of client data center facilities across the Asia Pacific region.

You will interview facility stakeholders, perform physical site assessments, and provide clear recommendations and high-quality reports. Travel 30-50% internationally with flexible schedules.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in physical security assessments for a global security org/consulting firm
• 1+ years planning and conducting Red Team exercises
• Familiar with access control, CCTV, and intrusion detection systems
• Understanding of defense-in-depth, SOPs, and incident management
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Willingness to travel internationally 30–50% and on short notice
• Collaborative team player

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site physical intrusion Red Team assessments to test security response plans.
• Interview security stakeholders to determine operational security practices at each facility.
• Assess technical security infrastructure including access control, CCTV, and networks.
• Present findings clearly to enable reliable analysis across many sites.
• Provide actionable recommendations on security policies and practices.
• Maintain technical proficiency and contribute to improving templates/methodology.
• Build strong client relationships through consistent, high-quality reports and delivery.
