Job Description Summary:

We are hiring a Global Investing Intern for our Global Investment Research - Real Assets and Private Credit team.

Job Description:

The 6-months internship program is an opportunity to join the Global Investment Research division at Cambridge Associates, with a focus on infrastructure, private credit, and real estate. The candidate will assist in conducting thorough due diligence on funds and co-investments, preparing investment reports, analytical materials, and concise commentaries. The internship program typically begins in January and concludes in June.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist with completing in-depth due diligence on investment opportunities. Responsibilities include: preparation of pre-meeting analytical and background materials for manager meetings, attendance of manager meetings, quantitative analysis of fund returns and other tasks that will help in evaluating fund managers
• Write reports, of various formats, to help clients and colleagues in their investment decisions. This includes concise commentaries summarizing meetings with fund managers and in-depth due diligence reports
• Assist colleagues seeking current information on investment opportunities, including data and analysis, comparisons across fund managers, and the opinion of the research team
• Prepare exhibits for periodic Research meetings
• Other ad-hoc tasks as required by the Research team

Skills

• Strong interest in investments, particularly in real assets and private credit
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills
• Strong command of written and verbal communication skills
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite and strong Excel skills
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks/requests while ensuring integrity, accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of data
• Possess humility and a willingness to work hard
• Ability to work independently and to be a self-starter
