Job summary

NES Fircroft is hiring for a 12-month contract to shape how a global MNC's data centre estate across multiple countries is planned, expanded and modernized. The role sits between data centre infrastructure, network architecture, capacity planning and business strategy.

You will lead reviews of existing sites, build costed growth options, negotiate with colocation providers and vendors, and present recommendations to senior technology leadership.

Qualifications

• Background in data centre design, engineering, infrastructure strategy or capacity planning.
• Knowledge of UPS, PDUs, CRAC/AHU, cooling, containment and three‑phase power distribution.
• Experience with financial justifications, cost models and stakeholder presentations.

Responsibilities

• Define data centre standards for provisioning, power density and structured cabling.
• Review sites, assess power, cooling, space, and quantify recoverable capacity.
• Build costed growth options with CAPEX, OPEX and trade‑offs for leadership.
