Job summary

Mercedes-Benz Singapore is seeking a Cyber Security Defensive Operation Analyst for a dynamic 1-year contract based in Singapore, joining our Global Cyber Security team and working with CIRC and global colleagues across EMEA and NAFTA. You will analyze alerts, lead incident containment, and coordinate communications during response and recovery, with weekend duty coverage as part of a 24/7 roster.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, IT, Networking, Engineering, or related field.
• Certifications such as CISSP or GCIH are a plus.
• Strong emotional intelligence, teamwork, and composure under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and triage security alerts, assess impact, and drive rapid incident containment and remediation.
• Investigate threats, identify risk gaps, and evaluate organizational impact through deep technical analysis.
• Collaborate with CIRC threat intel team to enhance contextual analysis and support threat hunting.
• Lead communications with end users and stakeholders during incident response, remediation and recovery.
• Deliver weekend duty analyst support as part of a global 24/7 operations roster.
