VERSANT Media, CNBC International division, seeks a Segment Producer to help build a live business-news program. You will collaborate with executive producers, senior/junior producers, and operations to craft segments, book guests, and deliver timely and engaging coverage of markets.

Responsibilities

• Develop and produce live and taped guest segments.
• Generate original content ideas daily from diverse sources.
• Identify and book compelling guests.
• Conduct pre-interviews and arrange hits.
• Write copy and teases for segments.
• Secure sound bites and video to support segments.
• Help create, visualize and produce segments for the show.
• Bring new ideas to the show for segments and franchises.
• Maintain relationships with news sources.
• Support Line Producers in show production.
