Our Client Onboarding team is seeking an experienced, commercially aware, and control-focused Associate to manage end-to-end onboarding for Global Banking & Markets clients in Singapore, with exposure to institutional clients, Prime Brokerage, hedge funds, investment managers, and complex trading relationships. In this role, you will own complex onboarding deliverables, help protect the firm, enable client trading activity, and ensure due diligence is completed in line with KYC, AML, regulatory, and new account opening requirements while partnering closely with Sales, Prime Brokerage, Compliance, Credit, Risk, Legal, Operations, and Technology stakeholders.
You will deliver a smooth onboarding experience for clients while independently identifying, managing, and escalating regulatory and operational risks. Success in this role requires sound judgment, clear communication, strong organizational discipline, and the ability to manage complex, time-sensitive requests in a dynamic, client-facing environment. This role also calls for curiosity about AI-enabled capabilities and automation that can improve control outcomes, workflow transparency, scalability, and client experience.
Client Onboarding Operations manages the front-to-back coordination and setup of trading relationships for Global Banking & Markets. The team serves as a central point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders, translating commercial requirements into compliant, controlled and operationally sound onboarding outcomes.
We work directly with clients to obtain documentation required to meet compliance and regulatory obligations across Fixed Income, including Derivatives, FX, Commodities, Equities, and Prime Services, including onboarding for hedge funds, asset managers, investment advisers, and other institutional clients.
The team approves new client trading accounts, coordinates additional trading features and account types for existing relationships, and supports complex fund, sub-fund, managed account, omnibus, and multi-entity onboarding structures. The team also supports ongoing maintenance and data quality management and partners with Technology and Compliance to strengthen systems, policies, controls, and operating efficiency.
