Job summary

A leading semiconductor company in Singapore is seeking a Global Assembly & Test Senior Strategic Program Manager to drive strategic projects and programs. Responsibilities include collaborating with leadership teams, overseeing critical projects, and managing operational progress. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience in semiconductor operations and strong project management skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree/Master's in Engineering or Science discipline or equivalent work experience.
  • 5 - 10 years of working experience in semiconductor operations.
  • Strong influencing skills (leading without authority).
  • Proven ability in project and/or program management.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the organization.
  • Excellent teamwork and collaboration with other groups, internally and externally.
  • Proven ability to plan and prioritize goals and objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the leadership team to develop and implement strategic programs that align with the organization's objectives.
  • Drive delivery of IPP Goals Performance and key priorities of Cost, Scale, Quality, Cycle Time and People.
  • Provide oversight and guidance for successful execution of critical projects.
  • Provide reports on critical issues for the Senior VP to support decision-making processes.
  • Coordinate essential meetings, monitor operational progress, and review key performance indicators.
  • Engage with global cross-functional teams to drive operational progress.
  • Serve as liaison between the Senior VP and stakeholders.
  • Organize and facilitate Global Assembly & Test summits.
Job description

As a Global Assembly & Test Senior Strategic Program Manager at Micron Technology, you will be responsible for collaborating with leadership teams to drive strategic projects and programs to deliver outcomes towards strategic objectives. You will be responsible for managing and coordinating different projects/programs to achieve the business goals and objectives. You will be expected to advocate, mentor, develop team members on programs and projects for the leadership team.

Job Responsibilities and Tasks
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to develop and implement strategic programs that align with the overall objectives of the Global Assembly & Test organization.

  • Drive delivery of IPP Goals Performance and key priorities of Cost, Scale, Quality, Cycle Time and People.

  • Provide oversight and guidance, fostering consensus among operational sites and central teams for successful execution of critical projects.

  • Provide accurate and timely reports on critical issues for the Senior VP to support effective decision-making processes.

  • Coordinate essential meetings, monitor operational progress, and review key performance indicators for the leadership team.

  • Engage with global cross-functional teams and network PMOs to drive operational progress and deliver on strategic priorities.

  • Serve as the liaison between the Senior VP and both internal and external stakeholders.

  • Organize and facilitate Global Assembly & Test summits and related events.

Requirements

  • Team members with experience in Global Assembly & Test operations will be preferred

    Leads people who are responsible for internal business projects and programs involving department or cross-functional teams of subject matter experts, delivering products through the design process to completion. Plans and directs schedules as well as project budgets. Monitors the project from inception through delivery. May engage and oversee the work of external vendors. Assigns, directs and monitors system analysis and program staff. These positions primary focus is project/program management, rather than the application of expertise in a specialized functional field of knowledge although they may have technical team members.
