Job summary

A global office furniture manufacturer in Singapore is seeking a Global Account Manager to enhance market share and customer loyalty by managing large accounts and developing sales strategies. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and five years of senior sales experience in the office furniture industry. Job Purpose

Global Account Managers increase Haworth’s market share and long-term customer loyalty through the retention, expansion, and business development by developing, implementing, and monitoring strategies and action steps to achieve maximum Haworth global account expansion in Asia Pacific.

A glimpse of your daily mission
  • Identify, prioritize, and develop strategies to secure large opportunities with global accounts and strategic alliance partners.
  • Develop relationships with existing accounts and strategic alliance partners.
  • Develop and execute unified collaborative account sales plans with local sales organization to achieve maximum client development and partnership within assigned accounts.
  • Establish contact and develop relationships with senior and executive leaders at major customers, target accounts, and influencers with a focus on architects and designers, project management companies, real estate brokers and developers with regional reach.
  • Coordinate negotiations of major account agreements and contracts, in conjunction with field sales and sales leaders, the Business Resource Center (BRC), contract development personnel and client procurement, as well as regional leaders, and appropriate corporate staff.
  • Maintain corporate profile information, including key personnel, primary location information, and account activity by location of assigned accounts using designated customer relationship management system.
  • Act as liaison between assigned accounts and Haworth in problem-solving with respect to high quality service coordination.
  • Coordinate with counterparts in Asia Pacific for global accounts.
  • Maintain thorough understanding of current Haworth and competitive product lines and service offerings.
Your Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Public Relations, Design or a similar field.
  • Experience in managing large complex accounts (preferably for Fortune 500 companies).
  • Experience in the office furniture industry or a related industry required, including a minimum of 5 years of senior sales experience.
