Geriatric Occupational Therapist — Part-Time Locum

Job summary

SG REHAB PTE. LTD. is seeking a Locum Occupational Therapist for a nursing home in the East of Singapore. This role is part-time (2 days per week) with start in September 2026 and a one-year contract, subject to extension.

You will conduct initial resident assessments, develop 6-monthly care plans, perform InterRai assessments as needed, and coordinate with the care team to deliver holistic, patient-centered therapy.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy.
• Full AHPC Registration.
• Minimum 1 year relevant clinical experience as an Occupational Therapist.
• Experience in geriatric, rehabilitation, community care, or nursing home setting.
• Passionate about Occupational Therapy.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluency in local languages will be an advantage.
• Self-motivated to engage in continuous learning and education in the field of Occupational Therapy.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial assessments for new resident admissions
• Conduct 6-monthly Care Plan
• Conduct InterRai assessments as required (training will be provided if necessary)
• Prescribe and execute individual activities for residents
• Liaise closely with other healthcare professionals to encourage a holistic approach to care
• Provide support to Active Rehab when necessary, oversight by head of department.
• Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions
