About the Role
At Kyndryl, you play a key role in shaping how organisations use geospatial intelligence at scale. If you’re excited about designing enterprise‑grade GIS platforms, building modern geospatial applications, and working with advanced spatial analytics, this role gives you the depth, complexity, and career runway to grow into a true GIS expert or architect.
Here, you won’t just maintain maps or process data—you’ll design, automate, and modernise full geospatial ecosystems for large enterprises across Singapore and the region.
What You Will Do
1) Geospatial Data Engineering
You’ll shape how spatial data is structured and managed across the organisation. You’ll:
- Design and maintain enterprise geodatabases (file/enterprise geodatabases, feature classes, domains, subtypes, topology rules).
- Build ETL/ELT pipelines for vector, raster, and imagery using ArcGIS Data Interoperability, ArcGIS API for Python, ModelBuilder, or FME.
- Implement data quality checks, metadata standards, schema versioning, and coordinate system workflows.
2) Services, Applications & Web GIS
You’ll create the tools and experiences that users interact with every day. You’ll:
- Publish and optimise map, feature, and image services on ArcGIS Server.
- Manage Portal for ArcGIS content, groups, permissions, and sharing models.
- Build web GIS applications using Experience Builder, Web AppBuilder, Dashboards, Field Maps, Survey123, and StoryMaps.
- Develop custom web applications using ArcGIS Maps SDK for JavaScript, ArcGIS REST API, and modern web frameworks.
3) Spatial Analytics & Modeling
You turn raw data into actionable insights. You’ll:
- Execute advanced analysis (network, proximity, spatial statistics, suitability, 3D/scene layers) in ArcGIS Pro.
- Use GeoAnalytics, Raster/Spatial Analyst, Image Analyst, and Notebooks for large‑scale analytics.
- Build repeatable geoprocessing models, notebooks, and scheduled jobs for production analytics.
4) Automation & Integration
You ensure the GIS ecosystem is efficient, scalable, and well‑connected. You’ll:
- Automate admin tasks with ArcGIS API for Python (users, services, content, backups, monitoring).
- Integrate ArcGIS with enterprise platforms like SQL Server, PostgreSQL/PostGIS, ERP/CRM, data lakes, or APIs.
- Support real-time/event‑driven GIS using GeoEvent Server, streaming services, and IoT feeds.
5) Platform Operations & Security
You help keep the GIS platform reliable, secure, and high‑performing. You’ll:
- Support ArcGIS Enterprise deployments (Windows/Linux, on‑prem, Azure, AWS).
- Monitor caching, indexing, performance tuning, and ArcGIS Online credit usage.
- Enforce governance for roles, permissions, SSO/Entra ID, and security policies.
