Job summary

Tan Tock Seng Hospital is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technologist for the Genomic Laboratory in the Centre for Precision & Genomics Medicine. The role handles clinical testing, routine lab operations and contributes to precision medicine initiatives.

You will process samples, operate equipment, and maintain documentation while supporting QA, test development and validation. Fresh grads with relevant internship or research experience are encouraged to apply, and strong teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• BSc in Biomedical Sciences or other relevant disciplines.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical laboratory experience preferred; fresh graduates with internship or research experience are encouraged to apply.
• Experience with PCR, sequencing and genotyping.
• Proficient in Word, Excel and basic office tools.
• Experience with data analytics tools is desirable but not essential.
• Working knowledge of basic bioinformatics (Python, R) desirable but not essential.
• Experience in procurement processes and general lab housekeeping.
• Meticulous and able to follow procedures.
• Excellent organizational and data management skills.
• Team player with good interpersonal skills.
