You will oversee the operations of the waste management facility, develop strategies for improvement, and manage a team. The ideal candidate has a degree in environmental science or a related field, with 5+ years of experience in waste treatment, including 2+ years in a leadership role. A valid class 3 driving license and strong knowledge of environmental regulations are essential. Competitive monthly salary and allowances offered.

  • Office Location: Jurong East Singapore
  • Working Hours: Mon – Fri 8am – 5pm, Sat 8am - 12pm
  • Monthly Salary: Base up to $12000 + Allowance + Variable Bonus (VB)
  • Employment Type: Full time, Permanent Contract

Responsibility
  • Oversee daily operations of the waste management facility, ensuring efficiency across collection, transportation, processing, and disposal.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans, policies, and procedures to drive long‑term improvements in waste management and recycling.
  • Manage budgets, monitor financial performance, and prepare reports and forecasts while identifying opportunities for growth, cost reduction, and revenue generation.
  • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational progress and staff performance.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, safety standards, and sustainability best practices through audits, inspections, and corrective actions.
  • Lead and manage a multidisciplinary team, fostering a positive work culture, setting performance goals, and conducting evaluations.
  • Collaborate with internal departments (production, sales, marketing, customer service) to align operations with business objectives and customer satisfaction.
  • Promote continuous improvement by addressing customer feedback, optimizing processes, and exploring innovative waste reduction and recycling solutions.
Requirement
  • Minimum Degree in environmental science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 year of experience in waste treatment or industrial plant operations, with at least 2 years in a management role.
  • Strong knowledge of environmental regulations, waste management methods, and recycling practices.
  • Proven proficiency in budgeting, financial planning, and resource management.
  • Excellent leadership abilities with strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster collaboration.
  • Skilled in data analysis, decision‑making, and adapting effectively to dynamic operational needs.
  • Possess a valid certification in waste management or related fields is an added advantage
  • Possess a valid Singapore class 3 driving license with own transport
  • Candidate who can start immediately or within short notice will be preferred
