To support our growth, we are seeking an experienced and visionary General Manager (Shoes) to be based in Jakarta. This role will be responsible for driving sales growth, strengthening market presence, building key client relationships, and collaborating across teams to achieve business objectives. The ideal candidate will bring deep industry expertise, strong leadership skills, and a passion for developing innovative strategies in the footwear sector.

Key Responsibilities
Market Research & Analysis
  • Conduct in-depth market research to identify emerging footwear trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscape.
  • Analyze data to guide strategies for market entry, expansion, and growth opportunities.
Business Strategy Development
  • Develop and execute strategies to increase market share and profitability for League Shoes.
  • Partner with senior management on forecasting, resource allocation, and business planning.
Client Relationship Management
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Act as the primary contact for major clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and service delivery.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to secure profitable business opportunities.
Sales & Revenue Growth
  • Drive the sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals, meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Develop and implement multi-channel sales strategies, including direct sales, partnerships, and distribution.
  • Monitor sales performance and report regularly to senior leadership.
Product Development & Innovation
  • Collaborate with the product development team to identify opportunities for new products or product improvements.
  • Provide market-driven insights and feedback to support product innovation and competitiveness.
Marketing & Brand Positioning
  • Work with the marketing team to plan and execute campaigns that strengthen brand positioning and product visibility.
  • Represent League Shoes at trade shows, conferences, and industry events to grow networks and brand reputation.
Team Leadership & Collaboration
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the team to achieve organisational goals.
  • Foster collaboration between sales, marketing, and product development to ensure alignment of business objectives.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in sales, business development, or management within the footwear industry.
  • Strong knowledge of Indonesia’s footwear market, including competitors, trends, and consumer needs.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership abilities.

  • Proficiency in CRM systems and relevant business tools.
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings, retail visits, and industry events.
