A recruitment consultancy is seeking a General Manager for the M&E Department in Singapore. The role involves leadership of the M&E team, ensuring project quality and compliance with company policies. Candidates should have a relevant engineering degree and proven experience in M&E projects including data centres and residential designs. A track record in procurement and cost control is essential. Competitive salary offered is between $12,000 and $15,000.
Working Days: 5 Days A Week (Monday – Friday), 8.30am to 5.30pm
Office at City Hall
Salary: $12,000 to $15,000
Leadership to the M&E Team, both in Head Office and on Site, in compliance with Company Policies, for the professional and dutiful execution of their respective roles.
Plan and deliver in association with other departments the yearly and midterm award, sales and profit targets set by Corporate Head Quarters.
Develop career trajectories and competency training of all M&E staff.
Set KPIs and monitor performance of all M&E staff.
Ensuring the optimal design, including specifications and drawings, to develop a common basis for the quotation of each service in each tender.
Develop and maintain a good pool of subcontractors to support the Company in Tender and Works.
Obtain and assess critically competitive quotations in compliance with Company governance.
Develop Value Engineering during tender and through works execution to improve on profit margins of the project.
Develop and monitor execution and cost control plans for projects.
Ensure M&E works quality and timeliness within working budget.
Develop and maintain a Corporate QA/QC plan for in-process and post completion maintenance works to improve on current and future project quality.
Subcontractors and Suppliers resources pool – develop and maintain excellent relationships to ensure that the Company has adequate support from these stakeholders.
Any other ad hoc projects and tasks assigned by Management.
