Responsibilities
- Lead a global team in designing and deploying advanced WiFi solutions tailored to customer specifications, leveraging deep understanding of WiFi/IEEE standards, cloud networking, vendor ecosystem management, and state-of-the-art wireless technologies such as WiFi 6/6E/7, IoT integration, and edge computing.
- Provide technical marketing support for WiFi products and solutions, effectively communicating value propositions and technical differentiations to global clients and partners.
- Mentor and supervise corporate and regional engineering teams in field activities: site surveys, pre-deployment assessment, installation of indoor/outdoor WiFi infrastructure, configuration, post-installation validation, and implementation of network support systems conforming to global best practices.
- Architect, document, and standardize WiFi network designs, implementation plans, and project documentation for repeatable, scalable deployment.
- Champion cloud-based network management, software-defined networking (SDN), and automation—using scripting (Python, Ansible, etc.)—to increase performance, agility, and consistency across enterprise deployments.
- Respond to RFI/RFPs and support customer consultations, producing detailed technical responses and solution proposals.
- Travel internationally to oversee regional projects, optimize design, and provide advanced troubleshooting, while coaching local teams to upskill in areas such as cybersecurity and network automation.
- Develop and deliver systematic training for internal teams and channel partners on WiFi technologies, cybersecurity awareness, and cloud/SDN practices, enhancing corporate and regional know-how.
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans; coordinate with third-party vendors and integration partners to validate solutions, ensure interoperability, and specify optimal deployment configurations.
- Lead multi-disciplinary install and integration teams through complex system rollouts, combining WiFi, IoT, edge devices, and auxiliary systems.
- Proactively manage network and device security—including firewalls, access controls, encryption, and vulnerability remediation—ensuring compliance with industry standards and corporate policies.
- Monitor wireless network analytics, automate reporting, and optimize performance; recommend and implement improvements for emerging wireless technology trends.
- Drive innovation by integrating WiFi with broader IT and OT systems, proposing new solutions, and testing next-generation wireless capabilities.
- Carry out additional responsibilities as required to support evolving business and technical needs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in technology leadership, with at least 8 years in a senior leadership role with a focus on intelligence solutions or related fields.
- Experience in the telecommunications industry, with specific knowledge of 5G, RAN, ORAN, or network core functionalities.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to articulate a complex technical vision to executive leadership, clients, and non-technical audiences.
