Job description

We are looking for an energetic, hands-on General Manager to oversee and manage our Food Retail business. If you have a strong track record of running F&B operations with successful Profit and Loss results, we would love to hear from you.

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, you play a crucial role in overseeing business operations, managing growth and involved in strategic decision making. You will be managing budgets, be responsible for expansion and development, including overseeing day-to-day business operations. You will be responsible and accountable for both top line and bottom-line results.

Responsibilities
  • Manage company’s business performance and daily operational activities, with Profit and Loss, and Revenue ownership
  • Report on operational performance and KPIs
  • Design strategy and set goals together with the various business and operational leads for growth to achieve targets
  • Develop and lead plans to improve processes and productivity
  • Assess and improve retail and internal operations including its day‑to‑day operational management
  • Maintain regulatory compliance and relations with relevant authorities and agencies
  • Any other tasks that may be assigned
Requirements
  • Preferably to have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent
  • At least 10 years of experience in the F&B or Retail industry, with a minimum of 6 years in a senior managerial capacity is required for this role
  • Have strong market awareness with the ability to identify opportunities and build reliable models for business growth
  • Proven track record in achieving growth targets
  • Full Profit and Loss responsibility
  • Able to think strategically and creatively
  • Possess strong leadership and communication skills, with a hands‑on, down to earth approach
  • Good team player with strong analytical and people‑management skills
