We are seeking a seasoned General Manager to lead the day-to-day operations and strategic development of a Single-Family Office based in Orchard Rd, Singapore. This role demands a dynamic leader with deep expertise in financial oversight, operational governance, and multi-jurisdictional tax coordination. The successful candidate will drive strategic initiatives while ensuring compliance and operational excellence across all facets of the family office.

Daily responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Supervising the existing team
  • Oversee middle office functions: fund flows, remittances, trade settlements, cash management, vendor payments
  • Liaise on securities corporate actions: dividends, share splits, capital calls
  • Manage fund companies’ dividend documentation and repatriation
  • Coordinate loan/collateral documentation and charge registration
  • Handle investment subscription documentation and KYC due diligence
  • Aggregate and consolidate portfolio data; produce performance reports
  • Calculate and manage billing and collection of management fees
  • Liaise with private banks on account documentation, W8 BEN, SoW corroboration
  • Organize monthly and ad-hoc investment meetings
  • Coordinate with fund accountants, auditors, and tax advisors on GST, ECI, ITC, Form C-S
  • Ensure compliance with MAS, FATCA, CRS, and corporate secretarial filings
  • Liaise with nominee directors and external vendors
  • Support strategic initiatives: corporate restructuring, estate planning, property transactions
  • Perform additional duties as required to support organizational goals

Core competencies include, but not limited to:

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in a single-family office, multi-family office, wealth management or public accounting firm
  • Must have experience managing a team, ability to work independently, a problem-solver and think outside-the-box
  • Strong grasp of multi-jurisdictional tax and financial structures
  • Proven track record in financial management, operational leadership, and project execution
  • Strong grasp of Singapore’s regulatory landscape (MAS, MOM, IRAS) and regional best practices
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field (required)
  • MBA or professional accounting certifications (CPA, ACA, ACCA) preferred
