Key Responsibilities
Strategic & Operational Leadership
- Oversee all construction operations, projects, manpower, and resources across the company.
- Develop and execute strategic plans to support business growth and project success.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, safety standards, and company policies.
- Implement operational improvements to enhance productivity and efficiency.
Project & Team Management
- Lead, mentor, and motivate Project Directors, Managers, Engineers, and Site Teams.
- Review project performance, progress, cost control, and risk management.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and at expected quality standards.
- Resolve high-level issues and support project teams in decision-making.
Financial & Business Management
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance for all construction projects.
- Work closely with management on tender reviews, cost strategies, and business development.
- Manage client relationships and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Review contracts, variations, claims, and major project documentation.
Stakeholder & Client Engagement
- Represent the company in meetings with clients, consultants, authorities, and external partners.
- Strengthen long-term relationships to support future project opportunities.
Requirements
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 20 years of relevant construction experience, with at least 10 years in a senior management or general manager role.
- Proven track record overseeing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong knowledge of Singapore construction regulations, safety requirements, and industry practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and people management skills.
- Strong business acumen, problem-solving skills, and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage complex operations.
