Key Responsibilities
- Lead evaluation and execution of solar/BESS/industrial distributed-energy projects
- Originate and execute project financing and fund raising: lender DD, term sheets, models, covenants, security package, CP lists and closing.
- Prepare investment papers / IC memos, investor decks and transaction documents to capital-markets standard.
- Structure cross-border / JV contracts and coordinate with counterparties.
- Develop green/transition finance pathways (e.g., sustainability-linked loan/bond concepts) and MRV/verification approaches for carbon or energy-efficiency projects.
- Work with finance on SPV cash-flow waterfalls, model assumptions and transaction timetables.
- Lead company operations and compliance, including internal controls, procurement, vendor management, HSE, data protection, and basic ESG processes.
- Establish policies & SOPs for daily operation of the company.
- Own P&L and annual budgeting.
- Set KPIs and run monthly performance reviews.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business/Management, Finance, Engineering, Clean-Energy or equivalent.
- 6–8+ years in renewables/power/infrastructure project finance or M&A, with ≥5 deal closed to non-recourse/limited-recourse financing or acquisition completion.
- Proven execution with projects, including drafting/negotiating contracts, coordinating counterparties, and managing RMB/S$ flows.
- Familiarity with capital-markets practices; knowledge of Singapore and/or U.S. markets is an advantage (disclosure style, investor materials, credit/rating considerations).
- ESG literacy preferred.
- Good communication ability of working with external legal/technical advisers to achieve targets.
