Monthly Allowance: SGD $9,000–$10,000 (inclusive of CPF contributions)

About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned and dynamic General Manager to lead daily operations at our North Indian cuisine restaurant under Barrels Entertainment in Singapore. The ideal candidate will bring extensive restaurant management experience, a deep appreciation of North Indian culinary culture, and a strong hands‑on leadership approach — especially during peak hours or events.

This role demands a proactive individual who thrives in a fast‑paced F&B environment, ensuring excellence across guest experience, staff management, and operational performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all aspects of daily restaurant operations, ensuring efficiency, guest satisfaction, and team performance.
  • Lead the recruitment, training, and supervision of staff to maintain top‑tier service and kitchen standards.
  • Plan and execute events for 100+ guests, handling logistics, menus, staffing, and service delivery.
  • Manage inventory, supplier coordination, and ensure timely ordering of ingredients and supplies.
  • Monitor and respond to guest feedback, resolving issues with professionalism and care.
  • Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards.
  • Supervise kitchen and bar operations, ensuring food and beverage quality at all times.
  • Collaborate with chefs and management on menu development and continuous improvement.
  • Maintain daily staffing levels and ensure uniforms and grooming standards are upheld.
  • Step into operational roles as needed, including behind the bar or on the floor during high‑volume periods.
  • Track and manage budgets, including income, expenses, and cost control.
  • Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment, coordinating maintenance and repairs as needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience: Minimum 10 years in restaurant or hospitality management, with proven experience in North Indian cuisine and large‑scale event operations.
  • Expertise: In‑depth knowledge of traditional and modern North Indian food service styles, mixology, and beverage operations.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership, team‑building, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal and guest engagement abilities.
  • Operational Agility: Capable of multitasking under pressure with a calm and composed manner.
  • Organizational: Highly detail‑oriented with a focus on records, budgets, and service quality.
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualification in Hospitality, Business, or related field.
