Job Description & Requirements

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Performance: Lead & manage the overall Club business and team to deliver specific KPIs & budgets as directed by the President and the General Committee.

  • People Management: Work with the HR sub-committee to take overall responsibility for developing, retaining and engaging the right people at club level to deliver business results.

  • Club budget and company’s objectives and KPIs.

  • Operations Management: Manage the day-to-day operations of the Club ensuring the Club delivers operating excellence.

  • Member Service: Ensure the delivery of excellent member services.

  • Sales & Business Development: Develop the business actively by building strong relationships with members and build new lead generation plan and identify new business opportunities.

  • Provide strong leadership which role models company values, demonstrates cultural awareness and maintains high personal visibility within the Club.

Requirements
  • Candidates must be experienced professionals in the hospitality industry with a sound knowledge of F&B and Financial Management. A background in Club Management and proven understanding of Member Owned Club dynamics will be highly desirable.

  • Good leadership skills with successful track record of developing people and spotting talent.

  • Sports knowledge / experience is essential.

  • Excellent knowledge of industry and operational challenges.

  • Able to deliver real improvement - able to get things done, strong influencing skills.

  • Good communication skills with all levels of the business.

  • Strong desire and ability to motivate and inspire people and teams.

  • Clear, logical thinker. High standards, gets the basics right.

  • Local knowledge and experience and/or cultural sensitivity.
