A leading technology company in Singapore is seeking a General Failure Analysis Engineer. This role involves conducting failure analysis using advanced tools such as SEM and EDX, preparing samples, and interpreting analytical data. Candidates should hold a degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering, with at least 2 years of relevant experience. Bachelor, Master or Ph.D. (Electrical Engineering / Electronic Engineering / Material Science, etc.)

Responsibilities
  • Perform sample preparation (cross section, parallel lapping, chemical decapsulation) and use ion miller, FIB and other preparation techniques.
  • Conduct failure analysis using SEM, EDX, 2D/3D X-ray and other advanced tools.
  • Communicate with customers to select proper analytical techniques and interpret data.
  • Prepare analytical reports and assist in developing new failure analysis techniques.
  • Perform routine instrument preventive maintenance and maintain laboratory housekeeping.
Job Requirements
  • At least a degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Material Science Engineering, Science & Technology.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience.
  • Must be able to perform FA studies individually and work well in teams.
  • Maintain good 6S practice during daily operation.
  • Experience in FA techniques (sample preparation, X-Ray, SEM, FIB) is a bonus.
  • Experience in Wafer Fab/Semiconductor/LED/Solar/HDD industries is useful.
  • A team player who can be independent, hardworking with a persevering attitude.
