Job summary
A logistics company based in Singapore is seeking a finance professional to handle daily finance operations, prepare monthly accounts, and manage cash flow. Candidates must have a degree in accountancy or finance, experience with full set accounts, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Strong interpersonal skills are essential. Responsibilities
- Handle daily finance operation such as posting of accounting entries.
- Responsible for timely month-end and year-end closing.
- Prepare account reconciliations, journal entries, and bank reconciliations.
- Control AP & AR aging and ensure the recovery of debts.
- Prepare electronic fund transfers and payment to vendor.

Responsibilities
- Handle daily finance operation such as posting of accounting entries, creation of JE’s, posting of transactions to GL and update of cashbook.
- Responsible for timely month-end and year end closing.
- Prepare account reconciliations, journal entries and bank reconciliations.
- Overall cash flow management and ensure prompt updates on cash flow related schedules.
- Maintain and update fixed assets register.
- Prepare all financial forecasts and actual reports as required.
- Control AP & AR aging and ensure the recovery of whatever possible debts.
- Prepare electronic fund transfers and payment to vendor.
- Prepare quarterly GST reports.
- Liaise with auditor and company secretary to provide necessary assistance.
- Renewal of company insurances and custom bond.
- Prepare and maintenance of audit schedule.
- Liaise with external parties such as banks, customers, vendors, government agencies and auditors.
- Assist in hiring of new staff and perform billing of invoices when necessary.
- Assist with office administrative work and ad-hoc work assigned by the director from time to time.
Requirements
- Candidate must possess at least a degree in accountancy / finance or equivalent.

- Well versed in Microsoft Office application.
- Strong interpersonal, mature with communication skills at all levels and responsible and reliable.
