Job summary

United Overseas Bank is seeking a senior AI/ML engineer to drive the deployment and governance of agent-based AI solutions across banking operations. You will partner with cross-functional teams to ensure secure, compliant, and cost-efficient AI services, with emphasis on model evaluation and prompt tuning.

The role demands hands-on experience with data science, NLP, and industry-grade AI tooling, including LLMs, RAG, and responsible AI practices. Singapore-based work is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a data/compute field and strong fundamentals in ML.
• 15+ years building and operating end-to-end AI/ML systems in production.
• 1–2 years dedicated to generative AI and large language models.

Responsibilities

• Define roadmaps for agent-based AI/ML solutions in banking.
• Lead evaluation, triage, and remediation for AI agent incidents.
• Fine-tune prompts, system messages, and prompts for cost efficiency.
