Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) in Singapore seeks an AI & Data Engineer with hands-on experience in Large Language Models, GenAI, and cloud-based data engineering. You will design, build, and deploy end-to-end AI solutions across ingestion, processing, and integration stages.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with LLMs and GenAI applications.
• Experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and vector search.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Familiarity with cloud data platforms (Microsoft Fabric, OneLake, Lakehouse, Azure Data Factory, Databricks).
• Able to translate ideas into working solutions independently.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and enhance LLM-driven applications and frameworks.
• Implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation, AI agents, and intelligent workflows.
• Work with LLM tooling such as Llama.cpp, Ollama, LangChain, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel.
• Build data ingestion, transformation, and ETL/ELT pipelines for structured and unstructured data.
• Work with cloud data platforms such as Fabric, OneLake, Lakehouse, or equivalent.
• Prepare and process data using Python, SQL, Spark, or PySpark.
• Develop and maintain backend services and APIs using Python.
• Integrate LLM apps with databases, vector stores, APIs, and enterprise data sources.
• Research, prototype, and evaluate emerging AI models and data tech.
• Improve solution accuracy, performance, scalability, and usability.
