Job summary

Hong Kong Unison Limited is seeking an experienced Data & Integration Engineer to support GenAI initiatives and enterprise data integration across platforms. You will translate business requirements into scalable data pipelines and collaborate with security, infrastructure, and data teams to ensure reliable data delivery.

The role emphasizes designing end-to-end integration, building REST/SFTP data flows, and enabling AI-powered business solutions with strong governance and monitoring.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/Engineering or related field.
• 5–10 years in Data Engineering, System Integration or Enterprise Data Delivery.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end integration design and enterprise architecture.
• Experience translating business requirements into technical implementation plans.
• Experience with upstream and downstream enterprise systems.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements and convert into end-to-end data and integration designs.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define interface specs and data contracts.
• Evaluate current integration processes and identify gaps, risks, and efficiencies.
• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise data integrations (REST, SFTP, batch, pipelines).
• Prepare data for GenAI initiatives and AI data preparation workflows.
• Coordinate data movement across Data Lake environments (Informatica, Cloudera).
• Build APIs to integrate applications and platforms; troubleshoot production issues.
