Job summary

The National University of Singapore (NUS) invites applications for a Research Engineer (Gen-AI Models) in the Electrical and Computer Engineering department to join the group led by A/P Wang Xinchao. The role involves researching confidence- and similarity-based Gen-AI models from training to inference, with emphasis on real-time edge analytics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master degree preferred and aptitude for our research.
• Strong programming skills in C/C++, Matlab or Python.
• Have prior project-related experience.
• Good team player who can work independently.
• Strong organizational, writing and interpersonal communications.
• Meticulous and able to work well under pressure to meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to Confidence- and Similarity-Based Gen-AI Models from Training to Inference.
• Contribute to On-chip Ultra-low-power Silicon systems with Gen-AI for Real-Time analytics at the edge.
• Contribute to Dialogue, Speech Signal Processing and Machine Learning algorithms.
• Contribute to the implementation of Automatic Speech Recognition framework and development of systems.
• Advance knowledge by publishing in leading journals and conferences.
• Prepare and meet project deliveries and milestones.
