Job summary

A leading energy provider in Singapore is seeking a skilled operator for their Combined Cycle Power Plant. The successful candidate will be responsible for safe and efficient operations, monitoring equipment, and responding to emergencies. Qualifications include a Nitec/Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, along with relevant experience in power plant operations. Knowledge of safety protocols and proficiency in Microsoft software are essential. This role requires commitment to 12-hour rotating shifts.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in power plant operations is advantageous.
• Possession of a 2nd Grade Engineer (Steam) Certificate of Competency is an advantage.
• Willingness to work 12-hour rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

• Operate the Combined Cycle Power Plant safely and efficiently.
• Prepare for, execute, and monitor the startup and shutdown of generation units.
• Identify and rectify all system, plant, and equipment defects.
• Respond to plant emergencies and equipment failures.
• Prepare daily shift log reports.
