Job summary

REVUP CONSULTING PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks an experienced FX Proprietary Trader to identify and execute proprietary FX trading opportunities using the bank's capital, while managing positions and risk.

The candidate should have 3–8 years of FX trading experience in a bank, prop trading firm or financial institution, with strong FX spot/forwards/swaps trading and a solid macroeconomic understanding.

Qualifications

• 3–8 years FX trading experience in bank, prop trading, hedge fund or financial institution.
• Strong experience in FX spot, forwards, swaps and/or derivatives trading.
• Strong understanding of global macroeconomics, interest rates and FX market dynamics.
• Strong analytical skills and risk discipline.

Job Overview

A well-established bank is seeking an experienced FX Proprietary Trader to join its trading team. The role will focus on identifying and executing proprietary FX trading opportunities using the bank's capital, while managing positions, risk and trading performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute proprietary FX trades across G10 and/or Asian currency pairs.
• Develop and implement FX trading strategies based on market, macroeconomic and technical factors.
• Monitor positions, P&L, exposures and trading risk within established limits.
• Analyse market conditions, liquidity, volatility and economic developments to identify trading opportunities.
• Collaborate with Trading, Treasury, Risk and Research teams while ensuring adherence to internal controls and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering or a related discipline.
• 3–8 years of relevant FX trading experience within a bank, proprietary trading firm, hedge fund or financial institution.
• Strong experience in FX spot, forwards, swaps and/or derivatives trading.
• Strong understanding of global macroeconomics, interest rates, central bank policies and FX market dynamics.
• Strong analytical skills, risk discipline and ability to make timely trading decisions.
