Job summary

Public Service Division, in partnership with MAS Singapore, invites applications for a role focusing on foreign exchange operations and market analysis. You will monitor SGD volatility, prepare briefs, and support senior management with insights to guide policy actions.

Qualifications

• No degree in economics/finance required; on-the-job training provided.
• Singapore citizen required for eligibility.
• Prepared to monitor FX markets overnight as part of duties.

Responsibilities

• Undertake SGD FX intervention operations within policy band.
• Gather market intelligence on SGD and regional FX markets.
• Prepare analytical briefs and updates for MAS senior management.
• Lead projects to improve FX conduct and market surveillance.
• Collaborate with government ministries, foreign central banks, and market participants.
• Drive GenAI initiatives to enhance analytical capabilities.
