Job Description
Role Summary
Dynamic and experienced Technical Delivery Manager to lead the delivery of large‑scale data and analytics programs within the retail banking and financial services domain. This role requires deep expertise in data warehousing, big data platforms, analytics solutions, and a strong understanding of retail banking analytics including campaign management, marketing, credit processing, CRM, and sales & servicing.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to‑end delivery of complex data and analytics project / programs across retail banking and financial services, ensuring alignment with business goals requirements.
- Manage large‑scale data warehouse and datamart implementations using platforms such as Teradata, Hadoop, and Cloudera, with a focus on performance, scalability, and data quality.
- Collaborate with business analytics stakeholders in marketing, credit, CRM, and sales to translate strategic objectives into actionable technical solutions.
- Drive delivery of data solution to support customer analytics, campaign targeting, personalization, and sales performance to support business growth and customer engagement.
- Oversee the deployment of analytical models for customer segmentation, credit scoring, cross‑sell/up‑sell strategies and MIS reporting.
- Ensure robust data governance, metadata management, and data lineage tracking to support compliance and audit requirements.
- Implement data quality frameworks ensuring accuracy and consistency across data assets.
- Lead multi‑track projects using a mix of Agile and Waterfall methodologies, ensuring timely delivery and stakeholder satisfaction.
- Manage cross‑functional delivery teams, vendors, and offshore resources, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Provide technical leadership across ETL, reporting, big data, and machine learning platforms, ensuring best practices and architectural integrity.
Domain Expertise
- Strong functional knowledge of Retail Banking, Wholesale Banking, and Private Banking products and processes.
- Experience in delivering analytical solutions for campaign management, customer lifecycle marketing, credit risk analytics, and CRM integrations.
- Familiarity with decision management platforms such as SAS Viya and Adobe campaign, Adobe Experience Manager and Adobe analytics is a plus.
- Exposure to retail analytics use cases including store performance, customer loyalty, and digital engagement metrics.
Technical Skills
- Strong technical knowledge and/or platform knowledge and exposure to Data Warehouse & Big data tools for Information Management tools like,
- Hadoop languages & tools - Spark, Python, R, Pig, Hue, Impala, Hive, Hbase, Informatica IDL, BDM, Kafka, Flume, Machine Learning Algorithms
- RDBMS - Teradata, Oracle, NoSQL
- Analytics / Decision systems: SAS Viya, Adobe (Campaign, Experience Manager and Analytics)
- Cloudera suite
- ETL & Data governance tools - Informatica PC, DQ, MM
Leadership & Communication
- Over 10 years of experience in delivering enterprise‑scale data and analytics Solutions, with budgetary and strategic responsibility.
- Minimum 5 years of leadership experience managing diverse IT delivery teams.
- Excellent communication skills with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Proven ability to lead defect triage, resolution, and reporting processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
- Professional certifications in Agile or PMP are advantageous.
- Strong problem‑solving, analytical thinking, and solution design capabilities.
- Self‑motivated, results‑driven, and a collaborative team player with a passion for learning and innovation.
