What role will you play?

As theFutures Sales and Execution Director, you will be part of a global team, operating as an individual salesperson whilst leading a regional team, in the origination of new institutional client execution & clearing relationships. Reporting to the Global Head of Execution you will focus on the sales, strategy and product capability arising from the Futures Division electronic/algorithmic and voice trading operations.

You will be responsible for forming and implementing regional electronic and voice trading strategies and partnering with other regional stakeholders to develop market leading solutions for Macquarie clients, whilst ensuring appropriate risk metrics are in place to effectively monitor the performance of the trading environment. Client focus sectors will include Asia institutional investors, corporate hedgers, hedge funds and commodity trade houses.

What you offer
  • Experience running a Futures electronic and voice trading business and familiarity with the tools, services, marketing and other offerings of such businesses
  • 15+ years sales experience in electronic and voice trading
  • Compelling relationships with institutional clients such as hedge funds and asset managers
  • Knowledge of laws, rules, and regulations (i.e. MIFID) applicable to electronic trading as well as Futures products and market structure
  • Ability to independently lead projects, manage teams and drive change with Senior Business and Risk Management teams
  • Experience in risk assessment/management and implementation of procedures and standards across all aspects of Futures electronic and voice trading.
