Job summary

Simons Technology Pte Ltd is seeking a commercially driven Fund Manager to lead and grow the company’s investment activities with a focus on U.S. financial markets, cryptocurrency and quantitative trading.

The role requires an entrepreneurial mindset to identify opportunities, develop strategies, support fundraising and drive long-term growth across investment activities. Mandarin/English communication is essential for investor and partner engagement.

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor's Degree from a recognised university.
• Preferably 3–5 years or more of relevant professional experience in fund management, asset management or investment management.
• Strong knowledge of the U.S. financial markets and/or cryptocurrency/digital assets.
• Experience or knowledge in quantitative, systematic or algorithmic trading.
• Familiarity with quantitative research, backtesting, trading models and data analysis.
• Knowledge of Python, SQL or other quantitative/data-analysis tools.
• Experience in fundraising/investor relations or business development is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of portfolio management, financial analysis, investment strategies and risk management.
• Good understanding of cryptocurrency, blockchain and digital-asset ecosystems.
• Strong entrepreneurial mindset and commercial awareness.
• Proficient in English and Mandarin.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor the company's investment portfolio, capital allocation and performance.
• Develop and execute investment strategies across U.S. markets, crypto and digital assets.
• Research and identify opportunities across U.S. equities, digital assets and other asset classes.
• Develop, evaluate and implement quantitative, systematic and algorithmic trading strategies.
• Apply data-driven approaches to identify investment opportunities.
• Conduct backtesting, performance analysis and optimisation of trading strategies.
• Monitor models, trading performance, exposure and risk.
• Explore automation and quantitative models to enhance activities.
• Prepare investment proposals and reports for management/investors.
• Develop relationships with investors, financial institutions and partners.
