In this role, you’re expected to:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced ETF Operations Senior Analyst to join our dynamic team in Singapore. This pivotal role will assist the senior manager in monitoring the end‑to‑end operational processes for our Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs), ensuring the efficiency, accuracy, and timeliness of our ETF Service product. This product primarily includes Portfolio Composition File (PCF) reporting, and Order Management encompassing Creation/Redemption order placement, settlement cost calculation, and ETF units/cash settlement in the primary market.

The successful candidate will play a critical role in monitoring daily ETF operations, optimizing workflows, mitigating operational risks, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to support the growth and integrity of our ETF Service offerings across the APAC region.

• Assist the senior manager in monitoring all daily Exchange Traded Fund (ETF) operational activities, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning.
• Conduct thorough reviews of ETF operational activities to guarantee consistent delivery of services with high standards of accuracy and timeliness, strictly adhering to Service Level Agreements (SLAs). Manage daily task allocation for the ETF Operations team, ensuring adequate resource distribution and conducting real‑time monitoring of task completion status.
• Act as a primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding ETF operational inquiries. Effectively manage expectations and deliver timely, accurate resolutions and communications.
• Lead ETF fund launches project, which includes reviewing critical documentation such as Operating Guidelines (OG), Authorized Participant Agreements (AP Agreements), and Fund Prospectuses, performing various system setups, and testing sample reports. Ensure smooth and successful ETF launches in accordance with the project plan and provide regular updates to the management team.
• Lead Change Request and ad‑hoc projects, ensuring a full understanding of the requirements and offering solutions that align with our standard product offerings.
• Assist with audit‑related requests and queries, including those from internal audit and external SOC audits, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
• Participate in technology enhancements by providing input for operational efficiencies, addressing production issues, and contributing to new functionalities development. Proactively ensure the timely escalation of all production issues, maintaining strict adherence to Citi's operational policies and procedures. Conduct comprehensive issue analysis, documentation, management reporting, and thorough impact assessments to inform resolution strategies and minimize business disruption.

As a successful candidate, you’d ideally have the following skills and exposure:

Technical Proficiency:

• Proficiency in ETF operations’ processes, including Portfolio Composition File (PCF), ETF Creation/Redemption order, AP Confirm report, and ETF Units settlement.
• Knowledge of ETF's primary market and fund service workflows, including foundational understanding of fund accounting, listed registry, and custody workflow.
• Proficiency in Excel.

Analytical & Problem‑Solving:

• Exceptional analytical skills to interpret complex data, identify discrepancies, and troubleshoot operational issues efficiently.
• Proven ability in exception management, including root cause analysis and implementing effective solutions.

Process Orientation & Control:

• Strong understanding and application of internal control frameworks, particularly segregation of duties.
• Ability to meticulously follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and adapt to process changes.

Communication & Collaboration:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with Fund Managers, Participant Dealers, internal teams, and other stakeholders.
• Ability to clearly articulate complex operational issues and solutions.

Organizational Skills:

• Strong organizational and time management skills, capable of prioritizing tasks and managing multiple workflows in a fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications

• 6-10 years of relevant fund services experience.
• Related bachelor's degree or equivalent certification.
