Job summary

A prominent investment firm in Singapore seeks an experienced accounting professional. Responsible for managing monthly reports, bank reconciliations, and supporting audits. Ideal candidates will have 5-7 years of experience, CPA/ACCA/CA qualifications preferred, and strong SFRS knowledge. Excellent Excel skills and attention to detail are essential. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Maintain bank reconciliation and monitor cash positions.

Job description

Overview

Tokyo-based investment bank and fund manager specializing in finance and real estate, with its Asian arm, in Singapore, focusing on Private Equity, Real Estate, and Venture Capital investments across Japan and Southeast Asia.

Job Responsibilities

• Review monthly reports in accordance with SFRS (Singapore Financial Reporting Standards), prepared by accounting service provider
• Maintain monthly internal bank reconciliation and monitor cash positions across all entities
• Support in bank account administration across legal entities
• Assist with internal and external audits, ensuring audit deliverables are met on schedule
• Review GST/Income Tax filing working papers prepared by tax agents
• Work with outsourced corporate secretary on corporate secretarial matters
• Assist with any KYC/AML requests
• Participate in any ad hoc projects or internal administrative matters

Qualifications

• CPA / ACCA / CA qualification is ideal but not a must
• At least 5-7 years of accounting experience
• Ideally have some exposure to fund management, real estate, or private equity

• Proficient in SFRS, particularly in investments
• Good Microsoft Excel skills
• Proactive problem-solver who can work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong attention to detail, well-organised, with good analytical and time management skills
