Functional Business Analyst (Navision/D365)

About the job: Functional Business Analyst (Navision/D365)

Lead D365 implementation project as the leader of business units with team members.

There are other leaders involved, such as a program manager at Global HQ, a project leader in IT, and a System Engineering team leader within each IT vendor.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Project management
  • Business operation: Accounting, Logistics mainly
  • IT system: Navision (current) and D365 (future), including peripheral systems and interfaces
Management
  • Organizing Business requirements: Gather requirements from daily operations, legal considerations, and future needs; prioritize with project members
  • Organizing Business transition: Coordinate with IT vendors, support transition design, promote transition tasks, and ensure quality management
  • Risk control: Identify risks, prepare countermeasures, and collaborate with key persons to improve situations
  • UAT: Develop UAT lists, explain contents to users, lead UAT, and complete the phase
  • Training: Oversee user training, including preparation and promotion
  • Skill transfer: Post-go-live, create documentation, share with target companies and IT vendors
Operations
  • WBS: Create and maintain the list with IT vendors
  • To Do & Issue list: Maintain the list, monitor task statuses with IT vendors
  • Meetings: Organize and facilitate meetings; record minutes
  • Report: Periodically update supervisors on project status, forecasts, including budgeting and workloads
