Role Summary
We are looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst with strong domain expertise in payments and transaction banking. The role involves working closely with business stakeholders and technology teams to analyze requirements, define user stories, and ensure successful delivery of banking and payment solutions in an Agile environment.
Responsibilities
- Engage with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and prioritize requirements
- Analyze business dependencies, workflows, and impacts across systems
- Create and manage user stories, product backlogs, and acceptance criteria
- Facilitate backlog grooming, sprint planning, and review meetings
- Clearly explain user stories and functional requirements to delivery teams
- Prepare and maintain business and functional documentation such as BRD and FSD
- Collaborate with multiple stakeholders and manage expectations effectively
- Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex business challenges
- Stay informed of market trends and evolving approaches in banking and payments
Requirements
- 12+ years of overall IT experience with at least 5 years in banking and payments domain projects
- Mandatory experience in Transaction Banking – Cash Management
- Proven experience delivering projects using Agile methodologies
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage diverse stakeholder groups
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in multicultural and cross-functional teams
- Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to break down complex problems into manageable components
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
GOOD TO HAVE
- Experience with Finastra products (Fusion Corporate Channels preferred)
- Knowledge of corporate payment products in the ASEAN region
- Understanding of core banking systems
