This role is prioritised for students currently enrolled at a Singapore-based institution in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline. You will join our development team and build features end to end, from working frontend to backend, designing APIs and MCP servers, improving test coverage, to deploying your work through CI/CD pipelines. AI-assisted development is a core part of our engineering practice and you will build practical skills in using these tools effectively while retaining ownership of the code you ship. While the custom services team focus on client work, the products team builds products and platforms for custom AI and XR * solutions, and interns can be involved in both teams. Beyond software engineering, you will also take part in client discussions, understanding user value through requirements gathering, contribute to system design, proposing creative solutions with our consultants, and most importantly work directly with our designers to uphold the high quality UX Red Airship is known for. Specific Responsibilities: Interns to be involved in (depends on the project you are assigned to): Pair-program with the team lead and other developers on real client projects across web, mobile, AI, spatial computing for MNCs and SMEs in Singapore. Contribute to technical design documents, building your ability to reason about system architecture and trade-offs. Integrate AI-assisted tooling into your daily workflow and learn its strengths and limits. Develop unit and integration tests with AI tools, review them for accuracy and coverage, and perform manual testing where automation is not practical. Take part in code reviews as both author and reviewer, giving clear, constructive feedback and acting on feedback you receive. Collaborate with designers and business users to understand requirements, resolve ambiguity, and turn them into a clear scope of work or features. Take part in sprint rituals, including planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives, as well as team activities.
Technical Skills and Competencies Intern will learn during the Internship: Hands-on experience with our current stack. The team works across a wide
