Job Summary

You will assist the veterinary team in delivering patient care and rehabilitation therapy for animals, manage front desk operations with client interaction, support housecalls, and contribute to social media and portfolio content creation.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinary professionals during animal treatments to ensure smooth and effective patient care
• Support rehabilitation therapy activities for dogs and cats to aid their recovery and wellbeing
• Greet and assist clients at the front desk, respond to inquiries, and deliver excellent client service to enhance customer experience
• Perform front desk administrative tasks to maintain organized and efficient clinic operations
• Assist with housecalls by preparing and supporting veterinary visits outside the clinic
• Create and post engaging social media content or other portfolio materials to promote the clinic’s services and community presence
• Safely perform manual handling and patient support tasks in a rehabilitation setting, maintaining physical fitness for these duties
• Collaborate effectively with team members to maintain a positive and supportive work environment

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Previous experience in veterinary care or rehabilitation is an advantage
• CCRP (Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner) certification is an advantage
• A Class 3 driver’s license is an advantage
• Demonstrate a cheerful and approachable personality to foster positive client and team interactions
• Show strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
• Exhibit strong hospitality and client service skills to enhance client satisfaction
• Excellent communication skills to clearly convey information and support team coordination
