Job Responsibilities
  • Prepare a wide variety of sushi and sashimi using authentic Japanese techniques, ensuring freshness, precision, and exceptional presentation.
  • Manage and oversee the sushi counter, maintaining smooth and efficient operations during service.
  • Ensure proper handling, storage, and preparation of raw seafood in line with food safety standards.
  • Maintain high levels of cleanliness and hygiene at the sushi station and surrounding areas.
  • Monitor inventory of sushi-related ingredients and supplies, coordinating with kitchen management to ensure availability.
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef to create seasonal and innovative sushi offerings aligned with the restaurant’s concept.

Job Requirements
  • Hands‑on experience as a Sushi or Sashimi Chef in a Japanese restaurant or similar establishment.

  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a high‑paced kitchen environment.
