Creative Hearts – Centre for Performing Arts in Singapore is seeking a warm, energetic Full-Time Music & Performing Arts Teacher to join our team. You will teach across piano, singing, musical theatre and early childhood music, adapting to students’ ages and strengths.

Diploma or degree in music-related field is preferred; piano proficiency is highly valued and experience with preschool-aged children is a strong advantage.

Full-Time Music & Performing Arts Teacher

Start Date: Early–Mid November 2026

Creative Hearts – Centre for Performing Arts is looking for a warm, energetic and versatile Full-Time Music & Performing Arts Teacher to join our team.

We are looking for a multi-disciplinary musician and performer who loves working with children and can teach across several areas of music and performing arts.

You might be a Music, Musical Theatre or Performing Arts graduate with a strong piano background, a piano teacher who also loves singing and performing, or an early childhood music educator with skills across multiple disciplines.

The role will be tailored to your individual strengths, training and experience. Depending on your skill set, you may teach a combination of:

• Individual and small-group Piano lessons
• Music & Movement / Early Childhood Music classes
• Singing / Vocal lessons and group classes
• Musical Theatre incorporating singing, acting and movement
• Preschool enrichment and external school programmes
• Holiday camps, workshops and performance projects

You do not need to be a specialist in every area. We are particularly interested in versatile teachers who can confidently teach across two or more disciplines.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons for children from preschool age upwards
• Develop students’ musicianship, technique, creativity and confidence
• Prepare students for concerts, showcases and other performances
• Conduct trial lessons and student assessments where required
• Communicate students’ progress professionally with parents
• Assist with lesson planning, teaching resources and curriculum development
• Participate in rehearsals, holiday programmes, workshops and special events
• Teach at Creative Hearts and, where required, at partner preschools and external programmes

Working Schedule

This is a full-time position. The exact weekly schedule will be tailored according to the successful candidate’s teaching strengths and the programmes they will be taking on.

• Saturday: Full day (approximately 9:00am–6:30pm)
• Sunday: Half day (approximately 9:00am–1:00pm)
• Additional weekday afternoons/evenings as part of the full-time schedule

Regular days off will be scheduled during the week.

Who We’re Looking For

• Diploma/Degree in Music, Musical Theatre, Performing Arts, Music Education or a related discipline preferred
• Piano proficiency is highly preferred
• Singing, acting, dance/movement or Musical Theatre experience is highly advantageous
• Experience teaching or working with children
• Experience with preschool-aged children is a strong advantage
• Warm, expressive and engaging teaching style
• Confident leading both individual and group classes
• Energetic, creative and able to make learning fun
• Responsible, reliable and professional
• Able to commit for at least 1.5 years

Training, curriculum guidance and teaching resources will be provided.
