Tribody Fitness is an independent boutique gym in Joo Chiat, operating since 2018. We’re a small team of mature, professionally certified trainers running our own proprietary programs. Our mission is simple: inclusive small‑group training that’s sustainable for every fitness level — and built to help members keep progressing and getting fitter over time. Our members are highly educated professionals, typically in their mid‑30s to mid‑60s, who value thoughtful coaching and meaningful guidance.
You are a leader and a team‑player. Your leadership style is collaborative: you identify the strengths and weaknesses of your team and provide timely, targeted support. You value diverse abilities and inputs, and you manage the delicate balance between business interests, customer satisfaction, and team well‑being. In short, you are a leader, a collaborator, and a business strategist.
We’re looking for a well‑rounded Head Coach who can enrich our gym community beyond the exercise floor. If you’ve built a career in another industry before moving into fitness, that diverse background will be an asset. Cultural awareness gained through travel and life experience is highly valued, and the ability to engage members in thoughtful, interesting conversations is a big plus. In short, we are looking for someone who is technically strong, socially mature, and intellectually engaging, and above all – a genuinely good person.
You have proven expertise in small-group training and team supervision. You also hold a professional fitness certification (such as ACE, ASCA, NASM or equivalent) and you are CPR/AED certified.
With a strong foundation in exercise science and programming, you’ll be responsible for designing effective workout routines and modulating them to different fitness levels. On the gym floor, you’ll lead group classes, set up equipment, and supervise your team – spending about 20–25 hours per week on the gym floor, with some days starting as early as 5:30am.
To fulfill your full‑time responsibilities, you’ll spend the remaining hours driving creative initiatives that improve member experience and grow our community. These duties are a core part of the role and must be carried out consistently. While they can be done remotely, this flexibility simply allows you to manage when and where you complete them.
