Job summary

A leading catering company in Singapore is looking for a Kitchen Staff member to cook and prepare food in accordance with assigned menus. The role requires a minimum of 1 year experience in a hot kitchen and the ability to work the midnight shift from 8pm to 8am. The ideal candidate should also possess a Class 3 driving license to help with deliveries. Join our team to ensure high hygiene standards and deliver quality service during food service.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of working experience in hot kitchen, preferred hotel/catering/buffet.
  • Able to work midnight shift from 8pm to 8am, permanently.
  • Able to drive lorry/van to help send rations to distribution point.

Responsibilities

  • Cook food batch by batch.
  • Prepare and cook food according to assigned menus.
  • Ensure high standard of cleanliness and hygiene maintained in the kitchen.
  • Assist Sous Chef/Junior Sous Chef with the kitchen work.
  • Operate and record a hot holding cabinet.

Responsibilities
  • Cook Food batch by batch
  • Make drinks using Cambro
  • Helping in Serving of Food
  • Area Cleaning
  • Assist Sous Chef/ Junior Sous Chef with the kitchen work
  • Preparation and cooking food according to assigned menus
  • Sorting, storing and distributing ingredients
  • Ensure high standard of cleanliness and hygiene maintained in the kitchen at all times
  • Able to recognize what are the control forms
  • Provide quality service during serving
  • Collect food sample
  • Operate / record a hot holding cabinet and food warmers
  • Ensure daily operations is aligned to all company policies, procedures and maximum standards
  • Ensures daily cooking procedures are in accordance with Camp Cook House's (CCH) SOP
Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year of working experience in hot kitchen (preferred hotel / catering / buffet)
  • Able to work midnight shift from 8pm to 8am , permanently.
  • Able to drive lorry / van for to help send ration to distribution point. (min Class 3 license)
