Overview

UCMAS Learning (Singapore) Pte Ltd is seeking a passionate and dedicated Abacus Teacher to join our team. This role involves teaching a small class of children aged 4 to 12, utilizing innovative video teaching tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead engaging abacus classes for groups of up to 10 students.
• Supervise and motivate students to enhance their learning experience.
• Communicate proactively with students and parents about their progress.
• Assist with new student sign-ups and handle walk-in inquiries.
• Perform ad hoc tasks assigned as and when required.
• Salary will be commensurate with experience.

Requirements

• Prior experience working with children is preferred.
• No previous experience in teaching abacus is required; comprehensive training will be provided.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Outgoing and bubbly personality.
• At least 1 year of teaching experience will be an advantage. Candidates without experience but have a strong passion for teaching is also welcome to apply.
• Able to work on weekdays evening and weekends.
