Job summary

Softvil Technologies is seeking a Full Stack (Web/Cloud) Developer to join our engineering team in Colombo. Design, build, and maintain scalable web and cloud applications using Java Spring Boot, Flask, and React.js.

You will work with RESTful APIs, AWS services, Docker, and CI/CD, ensuring high quality code, testing (JUnit, Mockito), and collaboration in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience as a Full Stack Developer.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Experience with Spring Boot, Flask, and React.js/Redux.
• Solid understanding of AWS cloud services and DevOps tools (Docker, Git, CI/CD).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications using Java Spring Boot, Flask, and React.js.
• Build and consume RESTful APIs and integrate with third-party services (e.g., Stripe, Twilio, SendGrid).
• Implement cloud-based architectures on AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, Cognito).
• Work with microservices, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines for efficient deployment.
• Optimize databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redis) for scalability and performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Ensure best practices in code quality, testing (JUnit, Mockito, Postman), and software design.
