Job summary

Google Singapore is seeking software engineers to work on next-generation technologies that scale to billions of users. You will join an engineering team focusing on security, data exfiltration prevention, and AI-enabled classification across distributed systems.

The role requires building security controls, collaborating with cross-functional partners, and delivering robust, scalable software across back-end and front-end stacks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
• 2 years of experience with full stack development across back-end (Java, Python, Golang, C++) and front-end (JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS).
• 2 years of experience with software development in one or more languages (Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
• 2 years of experience working on large-scale distributed systems or with mobile/web development.

Responsibilities

• Work on an engineering team to implement security controls across systems handling intellectual property, including exfiltration-prevention components.
• Partner with Security Engineers, PMs, and cross-functional teams to deploy preventive exfiltration controls.
• Design and build security controls and system components.
• Build AI-based classification systems for next‑generation security and context awareness.
