Full Stack Java Developer / Engineer - 12 Months Contract

Morgan McKinley is hiring for a Full Stack Java Developer/Engineer for a 12 month contract assignment with a possibility to extend or to go perm!

Responsibilities

Create, develop, and sustain Java applications.

Design, construct, and configure applications to align with business processes and application needs.

Work closely with interdisciplinary teams to collect requirements and deliver effective solutions.

Engage in code reviews, testing, and troubleshooting to ensure superior quality of deliverables.

Adhere to best practices and established coding standards.

Implement improvements through modern technologies and analytics platforms that interface with or extract data from SAP.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Extensive experience with Java and associated frameworks.

Proficiency with RESTful APIs, database management, and version control systems such as Git.

Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills.

Knowledge of back-end development, including microservices architecture.

Expertise with Spring Boot framework for Java, including API development and management.

Familiarity with MS SQL and MongoDB (a plus).
