You will work across backend and frontend, integrate systems and APIs, and contribute to architecture diagrams. Qualifications

• Hands-on AWS cloud services experience.
• IaC experience with Terraform.
• DevOps practices and CI/CD pipeline setup, preferably GitLab.
• Proficiency in Python, TypeScript, React.
• Experience in software engineering and system design.
• Experience implementing security best practices for systems.
• Observability technologies experience.
• Ability to read and develop architecture diagrams.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Collaborative team player with good communication skills.
• Adaptability to evolving requirements and technologies.
• Experience designing or contributing to identity systems.

Responsibilities

• Understand business requirements and translate them to fit-for-purpose solutions
• Review existing cloud systems and identify improvement areas
• Set up and configure repositories for multiple systems
• Migrate existing systems to other environments
• Establish DevOps pipelines including testing, scanning, and CICD
• Provision and manage AWS resources to support deployment and scaling
• Implement IaC using Terraform for reproducible deployments
• Integrate backend systems and APIs with frontend application
• Integrate applications with external authentication systems with secure flows
• Apply security best practices throughout the lifecycle
• Design interfaces with external systems
• Develop and review application code
• Implement observability, monitoring, and fault tolerance
• Ensure compliance with government security policies and standards
• Document architecture and design decisions
