Job summary

ADECCO PERSONNEL PTE LTD is seeking a capable Web Application Engineer with strong PHP and Laravel skills to design, build, test and document web applications (frontend + backend). You will work with cross-functional teams on automation requirements, and help implement orchestration workflows while supporting production environments.

Proficiency with HTML/CSS/JavaScript, SQL databases, and frontend frameworks (Vue.js or React.js) is required. Scripting with PowerShell, Python or Bash is a plus.

Qualifications

• Strong PHP and Laravel development experience.
• Solid understanding of web technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SQL.
• Experience with frontend frameworks Vue.js or React.js.
• Database experience with SQL servers or MySQL is advantageous.
• Scripting experience in PowerShell, Python or Bash.

Main Responsibilities

Requirement & Solution Design

• Work with cross-functional teams on requirement gathering for automation implementations.
• Identify automation opportunities in the environment and drive implementation fromideato delivery.

Web Application Engineering (Full Stack)

• Design / develop / test web applications (frontend + backend).
• Prepare documentation for all aspects of applications and automation flows (technical docs, runbooks, user guides as applicable).

Automation & Orchestration Engineering

• Orchestration Tools Architecture: build and maintain thetools architectureused for developing automations.
• Automation Workflow Development: develop and implement techniques that define automation workflows to process pipelines and achieve desired results with no manual intervention.

Production Support & Operations

• Support web applications in production: analyze,troubleshoot, and resolve issues as they arise.
• Support the software deployment stack: troubleshoot issues and liaise with the appropriate systems teams for resolution.
• Upgrade applications when underlying frameworks and package versions evolve.

Technical Skills

• Demonstrated experience in PHP and Laravel framework development.
• Strong understanding of web technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SQL.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies such as Vue.js, or React.js or any other equivalent technologies.
• Database experience with one or more of the following: SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, or PostgreSQL.
• Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell / Python / Bash / Shell scripting, or any other equivalent scripting language.
